This series of works is the one that gave me a new creative direction. I still remember when I started painting the first one, "Dancing together," I was too excited to fall asleep at night. I couldn't help but think about what kind of methods I should use and what it would look like when it was finished. And my hands and feet kept sweating when I consider these problems. At first, I planned to draw the girls sitting together with the same posture, but after several sketches were done, I felt that the composition and dynamic of the figures are not "classic" and "powerful" enough. Therefore, in the final, I changed the sitting girls to ballet dancers. For the background, I continued the style of my previous works: by compositing colors to manipulate the space and the vibe in these paintings.

        I still remember the scene that I had just finished the first painting: I leaned on the couch, watched it, and clapped my hands from time to time. That reminds me of the father in "The Pursuit of Happiness". After getting the jobs, he also clapped for himself in the crowd on the street. When I just completed the first painting which I had drawn intermittently for more than 40 days, the ease of unloading the burden and the satisfaction of completing the work gave me the rare moment in which I can feel the happiness of life clearly.

        Since then, I particularly focus on this kind of "dynamical beauty" which can be shown perfectly in an instant. Every time I finish a new work of this series, the strong attraction it has would make me reluctant to let it end. By the seventh work, this series has already taken me about a year. In this process, as the technical problems are solved one by one, I develop a set of production steps, which can efficiently put the small draft onto the canvas.
