I hate all riddles,
But love looking at the stars.
I shy away from the crowd,
But yearn to be heard.
I tried to untangle my mind
by drawing, singing, punching, and bellowing.
But in the end,
I found that all I needed was to turn my eyes,
Look inside,
And convince myself that what was being constructed in my head
was the reality.
When I made it,
The future could be seen,
The power could be acquired,
The lies could be made true by me.
Everything in this world became my medium to create.
I set myself free.
I began to use what I had to construct what I saw,
Used what I constructed to remember what I lost.
Therefore, become an artist living in dreams.
I've shared my dreams with many, though few truly listen.
I remind myself not to mind,
As I believe one day these dreams will merge with reality.
Eventually, people will see.
At the same time,
I know when it really does,
There will be another challenge waiting.
If the artist could get all the agreements without struggling,
The artwork could be appreciated without attention,
Will the magic of creation as the "soul's medicine"
still be as potent, as true?
