TICKET TO THE FUTURE
Event Venue
The space station is divided into four parts:
Museum of Earth Civilization, Food Theater, Twin Churches, and Simulated Park.
Twin Churches
is divided into two spaces. The space named "Birth" has white walls and floors with constant intense white light. The space named "Death" has black walls and floors with changing dim monochromatic light. Visitors can meditate and walk their lives in their minds in each space. Click "Twin Churches" for more information.
Museum of Earth Civilization
is an open space for the audience to walk around and read. Visitors can read the first issue of The New Human Times, which changed the fate of humanity at the beginning of the 21st century, and explore the life and culture of humans in the Earth era through various exhibits in the display. (Happening Now: A Human Story)
Simulated Park
is an outdoor setting simulated after a park in Beijing, China in the early 21st century. Although the park was turned into an international "station" in 2050, thanks to simulation technology, visitors can still tour the park, go camping, and watch the final act of the show under the stars in this park. Click "Simulated Park" for more information.
Food Theater
was once a dining area for the staff on the space station, but now has been decorated to resemble the room of simulator Anna Lee during her studies on the space station in 2045. Visitors can enjoy future food and follow the performers back to 2045, feeling the love and struggle that took place in that room. Click "The Show" and "Food & Water" for more information.
*Please come dressed in simple attire to board the time machine.
Upon arrival at the space station, special futuristic attires will be provided for you.
The Show: Fuck the Dream
"A young girl, a lonely journey, a mentor who never shows up, a shared secret, a great dream, an unspeakable love, and a doomed future for humanity."
"Fuck the Dreams" is a biographical play about Anna Lee, a scenario simulation artist, who comes to Space Station 5 to study, live and pursue her "dream" and "love".
The show has nine acts, with a ten-minute break after each act, and the total duration is about three hours. During the break, the space station will provide food and drinks that correspond to the performance, and the bar service will be open for orders. At the same time, the performers will once again blend in with the audience and interact with them. (Before the show starts, since all the audience are wearing the costumes provided by the space station, they will not know that there are performers among them.)
